The TomKat/Tangaroa Blue Foundation Solution: Introducing the TomKat KoolPak, an innovative packaging system designed with the circular economy in mind. By leveraging track-and-trace technology alongside principles of reuse and recycling, the KoolPak significantly reduces waste while fostering sustainability.

The reusable Esky Library Initiative is projected to prevent over 900 wheelie bins of EPS waste from entering local landfills each year. Three KoolPak transit packs for Phase 1 have been sent to Perth for the trial commencement. Each pack will save four wheelie bins of EPS from disposal every freight cycle each fortnight.

The Roadmap to Sustainability: • Phase 1: Launch a small-scale trial on Christmas Island with one supplier and select customers, refining the system based on user feedback. • Phase 2: Expand the program over 12 months to include additional suppliers and a broader customer base. • Phase 3: Establish a self-sustaining system delivering ongoing environmental benefits across the IOT.

By reducing waste and protecting fragile ecosystems, we’re setting a new standard for circular packaging. This initiative is more than just a solution—it’s a decisive step toward a cleaner, more sustainable future.
