The drying rack can be used to hygienically hang and store multiple KoolPak boxes and liners without taking up valuable storage space.

100% of packaging is reusable, recyclable or compostable 70% of plastic packaging goes on to be recycled or composted 50% average recycled content within packaging 20% recycled content for plastic packaging problematic and unnecessary single-use plastics packaging phased out
  • Do I need to use a single-use plastic liner bag in a KoolPak?
No. We have developed customised anti-microbial food grade films which are on the inner face of the thermal liner, so no single-use plastic liner bags are required. In addition, the KoolPak has three independent leakproof layers which further eliminates the need for a single-use plastic liner bag.
  • Is the Koolpak Airline Approved?
Yes. The KoolPak 56L Silver is Airline approved to 25 kg without the need for a single-use plastic liner bag. Airfreight approval number 8597. The KoolPak 32L Silver and the KoolPak E-Comm box are pending Airline Approval.
  • What is the KoolPak made of?
KoolPak lids and bases are constructed of up to 90% recycled polypropylene. The thermal liner is constructed of polyethene film and foam. As no components of the KoolPak are physically or chemically blended (co-mingled) they are readily recyclable after multiple uses.
  • Is the KoolPak Kerbside recyclable?
Recycling can only be achieved via an authorised collection centre. This can be coordinated through TomKat Global Solutions and our network of distributors, manufacturers and project supporters. A cash-back credit is given when KoolPaks are returned to an authorised recycling centre.
  • How do I get my KoolPak back?
The KoolPak has been designed for the circular economy. Collect your used KoolPak every time you make a delivery or arrange a return system with your customers. KoolPaks flat pack for ease of storage and return delivery.
  • Isn’t the KoolPak just another plastic packaging product?
Choosing the right plastics for the right application is very important. Because the KoolPak can be re-used multiple times it has a very small environmental footprint compared with conventional expanded polystyrene boxes and other single-use alternatives to EPS. Re-use should always take precedence over simply recycling. It is also important to think about emissions that may come from composting or biodegrading.
  • How do I trace my KoolPak?
Download the KoolPak app from Google Play Store or the App Store.
  • Are the components of the KoolPak independently replaceable?
Yes. If a lid, base or liner is damaged, cost-effective independently replaceable components are available, so your KoolPak can continue its use.
