DR. JONATHAN MIDDIS

SPECIAL PROJECT'S MANAGER
DR. JONATHAN MIDDIS
Jonathan Middis has a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Auckland University. He has years of experience in new product development spanning global food multinationals to local start-ups and has overseen the launch of more than a thousand products during that time.

His work has focused primarily on beverages (coffee, juice), dairy (cheese) and produce, but spans nearly every aisle of the supermarket. More recently he has turned his hand to finding innovative solutions to create value-added functional products from food waste streams. He is great at finding solutions and getting stuff done. Jonathan still believes that it is amazing what can happen over a cup of coffee and passionately avoids waste in all its forms.

Jonathan is a food and beverage technology expert with over 20 years of commercial experience driving R&D in global multinational corporations and start-ups. He helped take The Food Revolution Group public and also works with Tamu Group, investigating and developing value-added food ingredients.

A commercially savvy industry leader with the ability to match product and pack design, Jonathan, who is a self-confessed serial innovator and disrupter, is an extremely valuable new addition to our team.
